Our photography style

I absolutely Love Holiday Styled, Family Photography sessions in Durban, Zimbali and Ballito. The Tropical Weather and Magical Sunset Lighting of the North Coast of KZN makes it one of the best Destination Family Photo Shoot locations in  South Africa. The Coastal Dune Forests in Durban and Ballito are magical Places to take pictures in and I have so much fun taking my  Family Photos in these amazing Ecosystems. 

So my Photography style on the North Coast of KZN is very easy. I just go with the flow, and explore Nature. I snap a few Natural and Relaxed Family photos as we walk along the beach and Explore the Forests. This process happens in a very fun and Organic way. I seem to like telling jokes, so I take the time to practice my stand-up comedy. I let the Path and Light lead me to what looks good and God always send the right people to walk along that path with me. 

I feel so blessed to be a Family and Landscape Photographer on the North Coast of KZN. This beautiful area has shaped my Photography style and I am so happy that I chose to  based in Durban North. What a fantastic Place to Live in and Take a few Pictures. 

So the one thing you might have noticed as you are going through this website, is we do not pose pictures. We have a very specific style, we like to keep these precious moments captured very natural and unscripted. We keep it simple. We find a great location, explore it and have fun. We then catch all the moments along the way. I have been doing photography for over ten years now and one thing I have not changed is my style. We don’t do rigid, we don’t force children to stand and behave, we take our time and capture true Character, and try our best to avoid our clients looking like perfectly posed porcelain dolls.

I believe that We are made in the Image of God, and every laugh, every tear, every quirky character trait is a master stroke of God’s brush. We enjoy allowing people to feel that they have the freedom to be who they were meant to be and just chill out.  Even in a wedding setting or corporate environment, you will find me and my Crew hiding away, just grabbing moments, as they happen, organically. There are no big Flashes, no long stoppages to adjust people to perfection, we don’t participate at your session, we capture it, and we try to keep it flowing.  We use super cool cameras that are very sensitive in low light so you will not see one Flash go off at your Event, sometimes you might even forget that we are there! (that is what we like)

We believe in Freedom in Every moment, Moments of true freedom, and freedom to be authentically you. This lies at the centre of our Photographic Storytelling.

We believe that True Photography, is about reflecting t Love and Acceptance for ourselves in the moment, regardless of where we are on the Journey of Life.
